AHH!
oookay, hey everybody! It's your boy Jon on the eve of my imminent departure to the fair Deutschland. I will be traveling by bus from the UW campus in Madison directly to terminal five, the international airport at O'Hare, Chicago. And yes, I am nervous, but also excited out of my mind! I'm going to miss everyone very much, and I'm sorry to anyone who did not get say goodbye to. I tried hard, but in the end there's only so much I can do while trying to get ready to go! So my bags are packed, my tickets are ready, my passport is burning a hole in my pocket, and I'm getting out of here. Wish me luck!

Jon! How was the journey? Have you started to recover from jet lag, culture shock, and all that? Is it still wintery there or has spring started? You know that America has entered a deep period of mourning for your absence. Keep us posted.
