Still waiting!

Hey hey hey!  All my other voyaging friends are either abroad or on their way...and where am I you are wondering?  I'm still smack dab in the middle of Ripon, and I have a considerable amount of inertia keeping me in place.  That is to say that I don't disembark for lands more foreign (Germany!) until the beginning of March (3/3).  I'll be in Germany till the end of July...to whom it may concern, I'll be coming back on July 24th.
What am I going to be doing overseas?  I'll be in school at the University of Bonn, hopefully studying fiercely.  I have to take some language proficiency tests, and I'm really banking on displaying some significant competency so that I can enroll in actual University classes instead of just taking German studies courses from the international center.  If that works out, not only would I take some kind of biology or chemistry course, but I could possible work in a chemistry lab, too!  Yeah yeah, save your groans, it's what I like to do, and it'd be an amazing opportunity, quite the feather to stick in my hat if I choose to continue on in chemistry
Speaking of chemistry, that's what I'm doing at Ripon right now.  My scholarship here entitles me to 10 weeks of paid research in the science department, so that's what's occupying my hours.  You'll find me in Farr Hall between the hours of 9 and 7 almost every week day.  For those who are curious, I'm performing organometallic synthesis, which is the typical organic chemistry plus a bit of metal chemistry.  It's cool : )
That's all I have to say for now!  I wish you all the best, and I hope that you continue to follow me through my adventures.
